What is missions?

At Hope Church, 12% of all tithes and offerings go to missionary work. This includes sponsoring our long term missionaries as well as our short term teams. Mission work includes a wide range of responsibilities, but the bottom line is that missions exist to reach the unsaved and to make a lasting impression on the respective community.

Local Missionary Work

We Go to our neighbors

We are all missionaries, and that works starts right in our very homes and local community. We seek to spread His word and make a lasting impact on people's lives.

Foreign Missionary Work

We Go to the nations

We reach out to areas across the globe to fulfill the Great Commission. As we share Christ, we build up communities and provide sustainability to the communities we reach.

We are called

As Christians, we are all called to be missionaries. We are the living and breathing example of Christ, and are commissioned to spread His word and make disciples.

Then Jesus came to them and said, ’All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
— Matthew 28: 18-20

Go with us!

Have you ever wanted to serve on a mission trip? We have teams throughout the year that visit parts of the world throughout the year.  Our teams provide medical assistance, construction, and teach the Word of God wherever we go.  If you have a desire to witness and reach the unsaved, stay tuned for future missionary projects that you can be part of!

Mission trips and opportunities will be posted as they become available.
